A Tale As Old As Time...

Hello and welcome to my newest addition to my blog family. Third times the charm, right? Don't get me wrong, I love my other two blogs. My first blog is one dedicated to 30 day challenges which I suck at keeping up with (http://30thingsin30days.blogspot.com/) and my second one is dedicated to my poetry, which I only write when I'm inspired to and that only happens every so often (http://erato-inspired.blogspot.com/). So, I decided that it was time for me to have a blog where I just write. No themes, just whatever I feel like. So why the Snow White themed layout? Well, for those that don't know me, I'm a (self-proclaimed) narcissist.

Narcissistic DSM IV Criteria

A pervasive pattern of grandiosity (in fantasy or behavior), need for admiration, and lack of empathy, beginning by early adulthood and present in a variety of contexts, as indicated by five (or more) of the following:

(1)  has a grandiose sense of self-importance (e.g., exaggerates achievements and talents, expects to be recognized as superior without commensurate achievements)

(2)  is preoccupied with fantasies of unlimited success, power, brilliance, beauty, or ideal love

(3)  believes that he or she is "special" and unique and can only be understood by, or should associate with, other special or high-status people (or institutions)

(4)  requires excessive admiration

(5)  has a sense of entitlement, i.e., unreasonable expectations of especially favorable treatment or automatic compliance with his or her expectations

(6)  is interpersonally exploitative, i.e., takes advantage of others to achieve his or her own ends

(7)  lacks empathy:  is unwilling to recognize or identify with the feelings and needs of others

(8)  is often envious of others or believes that others are envious of him or her

(9)  shows arrogant, haughty behaviors or attitudes

 I also happen to be obsessed with fairy tales and the idea that I'm a princess.

 Anyways...not only does the phrase "Mirror, Mirror on the wall, who is the fairest of them all?" express my narcissism and my love for fairy tales, it also reminds me of one of my new favorite shows Once Upon A Time -netflix it!- which centers around the Evil Queen and a curse that she put on fairy tale world for all the characters to live in our world without any knowledge of their previous life and only one can break the curse. Its a great show, and I'm excited for season 2 to start tomorrow! So really what this whole blog's purpose is for me to rant about anything and everything I feel about. And as always, you can choose to be interested in my life or completely ignore it. It's up to you, I don't care. This is for me. So be flattered that I'm even giving you the opportunity to be a part of it. Seriously, this blog will share anything and everything that is on my mind. Enjoy it.
